Motivated by our Christian faith to be Catalysts in community transformation, Project Share seeks to holistically improve the opportunities of the people in communities it works in to take control of their own lives, through knowledge and skills training, and stimulating them to share their own knowledge with others. Our three operational areas are health, agriculture and education.
When we say we operate holistically, we mean that we deal with the total being of a person – spiritual as well as physical. Because our vision is for people to share their knowledge and experiences to help others, our approach is participatory: that is, we involve the people we work with in problem analysis and decision making. This is proven to enhance sustainable development. Ultimately we aim to affect a change in attitude and sensitize communities to care for vulnerable groups in their midst and even beyond their ethnic and geographical borders.
